As soon as they shared the video, people started guessing that Karan could announce 'Dostana 2' tomorrow. Several actors and actors have come up for the film, but nothing has been decided so far.

Some media reports say that 'Dostana 2' will have Rajkumar, Karthik Aryan and Janhvi Kapoor as the story is completely different from the prequel. Karan in the movie would like to do new casting. According to sources, Dharma Production is ready to announce 'Dostana 2'. No one has officially been approached for DOSTANA 2!!!! There are some thoughts going on but nothing has officially been finalized...'At the beginning of the year for the record it was estimated that Alia Bhatt could be seen in the lead role in Dostana 2.' Karan later said.
