Patna: On Wednesday, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar announced that no matter how close anyone is, the invitation card on which 'dowry free marriage' will not be written now, will not go to that marriage. He appealed to the public to do the same. On Wednesday, CM Nitish Kumar started his social reform campaign from Motihari. Due to this, he made the public aware of the prohibition of liquor, the dowry system, and child marriage.

Talking about the dowry system, he said that the dowry system is bad. In many places, people harass the girl after marriage that she should get money. He said that taking dowry legally is a crime. Appealing to the people, he said that the dowry system is a very bad practice. We will go to the marriage program on which the invitation card will be written as dowry-free.

CM said, "No matter how close I am, if the dowry free marriage is not written on the card, then we will not go to that marriage." He also urged the public to take an oath on this matter. He urged the public to stand against the prohibition of liquor, dowry and child marriage. Under this campaign, CM Nitish Kumar will go to Gopalganj on December 24. Under this campaign, the CM will visit 12 cities and from there he will also review the development works of the adjoining districts.
