New Delhi: Indian Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has given a big statement about the Coronavirus vaccine of American company Pfizer. He says that India probably does not need the Pfizer vaccine because there are already five vaccine trials in the country, which have yielded very good results so far.

According to media reports, Minister Harsh Vardhan has said that there is no justification for considering the Pfizer-BioNotech vaccine while the US regulatory authority itself has not given its approval. There are at least five candidates for the vaccine in India, whose human trial of corona vaccine is going on. Three of these vaccines are in the second and third stages of the trial to prove safety and effectiveness.

The Serum Institute of India is conducting a third phase of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine in association with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). PM Modi is having two big meetings today on the increasing cases of coronavirus and maintenance of corona vaccine. The first meeting has been held with the Chief Ministers of 8 states. Now the second meeting is going on, it is being discussed on the corona vaccine.
