The counting of votes is still underway but trends suggest that congress party will make government in three state- Rajasthan, Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. In Chattisgarh, Congress leads on 63 seats whereas BJP leads at just 18 seats and others on 09 seats. This number suggest that it is almost confirmed that congress will make the government in Chattisgarh. BJP candidate Dr. Raman Singh takes the blame for party’s loss.

Dr. Raman Singh said that, we respect people's mandate. I congratulate the Congress party for winning and hope it fulfills all the promises made to the electorate.I thank the people of the state for giving an opportunity to me to serve for 15 yrs. I take blame for BJP's loss.
