Lucknow: In UP, the cases of crime are increasing day by day. A case has come to light is from Noida adjacent to Delhi where a junior scientist of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) got trapped and demanded Rs 10 lakh as ransom from his family. It is being told that the scientist was kidnapped and taken hostage in a hotel in the name of massage in Noida on Saturday evening.

As soon as the information about DRDO scientist's abduction received, there was panic in the police department. As soon as the information was received, six teams were constituted in this case under the leadership of the commissioner and three people including a woman were arrested after the scientist was found safe late on Sunday night. The police is raiding places to catch the other accomplices of these miscreants. On Saturday, a person from the massage center arrived and the scientist went with him to get a massage in a hotel in Noida. In no time, three-four people reached there and started threatening the scientist. The accused started calling themselves police officers, accusing him of being involved in a sex racket. Then took him hostage in the hotel room. Then demanded 10 lakh rupees from the family.

The miscreants, calling themselves police officers, threatened the scientist that if he did not give the money, he would be arrested. It is being told that the police had received information about this from the DRDO headquarters. After which the police started raids continuously and late night they got success and the scientist was safely freed and handed over to the family. The police has now started investigating.
