Ajay Devgn‘s film Drishyam 2 has already hit the theatre screen. Ajay Devgn is back with ‘Drishyam 2’, the sequel to the 2015 blockbuster ‘Drishyam’. Since the first of movie was released in news. Even before the release of the film, the film has done a very good collection from advance booking. Now after the release the film is getting very good reviews. Let us have a quick review.

Story

Even after the seven-year of the incidence, everything is not well in the family. Vijay and the Salgaonkar family, consisting of his wife Nandini (played by Shriya Saran), and two daughters, Anju and Anu (Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav), are trying to swim through their past and are attempting to start a new life

In the first half of the films things that affect you is  like Anju's epilepsy episode, Anju confiding to Jenny, and Tarun's entry. The intermission point is unexpected and gives some indication that this film also is a roller coaster ride. Post interval, Tarun meeting Nandini and his daughters is memorable and the trouble is back in their life. The last 30 minutes are best. The turn of events is completely unpredictable and will induce claps and whistles in cinemas.

Review

The story film as similar to the first part did not disappoint you. The plot is good, the cinematography is good. Speaking about the performance, Ajay shines as Vijay in this one. He is smart, ‘as the police describe him, and futuristic. Shriya Saran plays the innocent Nandini who hasn’t had a single peaceful night’s sleep in the past seven years because the past haunts her. Anu is all grown up but  is also dealing with disease and stress. Tarun Ahlawat a(played by Akshaye Khanna) Akshay does a great job too as an investigating officer.

Drishyam, the Hindi remake of hit Malayalam flick of the same name, was helmed by National-Award-winning director Nishikant Kamat, who died in 2020 at the age of 50. Most of the original cast, including  Tabu  as feisty top cop Meera Deshmukh, will be reprising their roles in the sequel. Tabu, Dutta and Saran reprise their roles along with Devgn in ‘Drishyam 2’. The sequel will also star Akshaye Khanna. This movie marks the second collaboration of Khanna and Devgn after 20 years.
