Mumbai: Drug dealers are adopting unique methods for smuggling these days. The DRI has exposed one such smuggling in which drugs were smuggled in fake hair. It has been revealed that heroin worth 3 crores has been found in the conscription of fake hair coming from Tanzania to Navi Mumbai. Women use fake hair as cosmetics.

This unique picture of drug smuggling was revealed when the packet of hair in the consignment was opened, some of the packets contained only fake hair, but some of the packets contained a brown packet wrapped with plastic which was surprising to the DRI officials when they opened it. The intelligence input that they received turned out to be right, a total of 1007 grams of heroin was found in these brown coloured packets.

The price of the seized drugs is 3 crores internationally. DRI has registered a case under the NDPS Act. Seeing the manner of this smuggling, it is revealed that the smuggler had found a way to smuggle in a very vicious manner but his tricks did not work and DRI seized them. Further investigation is being done as to who had summoned the consignment of heroin.
