New Delhi: A major action has been taken against narco-terror in the national capital Delhi. Delhi Police's Special Cell has seized drugs worth Rs 1200 crore. The big thing is that the money coming from selling these drugs was to be used in terrorist activities against India. Along with confiscating the drugs, the police have also arrested two Afghan civilians. The consignment of drugs was earlier brought from Chennai, capital of Tamil Nadu, to Lucknow in UP and from there to Delhi. 

According to the report, these drugs were to be transported from Delhi to Haryana, Punjab, Himachal and Rajasthan. The police seized 312.5 kg of methamphetamine and 10 kg of fine quality heroin from the smugglers. The Special Cell of Delhi Police has informed in a press conference that, 'As part of the operation, we have seized 312 kg of Methamphetamine. The two Afghan civilians who have been arrested were already under surveillance. We have caught these drugs from a car near Kalindi on the basis of an information. Officials said that after interrogation of both the accused, heroin has also been seized from Noida.'

Delhi Police has informed that raw material has been found from the bags from Lucknow as well. An investigation has revealed that Mustafa is from Kabul and the second accused is a resident of Kandahar. These drugs were brought from Afghanistan by sea and were brought from the port of South India. Afghanistan has now become the new hub of drugs. These drugs are also going to western countries.
