In an appalling case, a son beat his elderly mother to death with bamboo. The accused is said to have committed the crime in a drunken manner. Police nabbed the accused from the house of one of his relatives. The incident is reported to be from Jharkhand.

In this case, last night, 30-year-old son Vishtu beat his 55-year-old mother Sushila Singh to death with a bamboo for not giving food. According to the villagers, the accused used to drink alcohol and make uproar in the village. According to villagers, they had earlier lodged a complaint with the police against the accused.

 He used to beat his mother the other day he demanded money. His 60-year-old father, Jaggu Singh, had also left home after being disturbed by the condition of his son Vishtu.

Last Sunday, when the accused got drunk and rushed to his house and asked for food from his mother, the mother refused. The accused then picked up a bamboo lying nearby and attacked his mother. He beat his mother so brutally, that he died on the spot. The accused escaped after seeing the mother dead.

Police rushed to the spot and captured the woman's body and sent her for post-mortem. The accused is currently in police custody.
