NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday over the deteriorating law and order issue in Delhi. During the visit, the leaders also submitted a memorandum to Amit Shah on the law and order situation in the capital. You MLA Sanjay Singh said, "We met Home Minister Amit Shah today. We urged them to hold a meeting with Delhi Police Commissioner, CM Arvind Kejriwal and the Home Minister with their officials to examine the whole situation.

Singh further said that necessary steps can be taken to improve the law and order situation in Delhi. Singh said that he had raised the issue of law and order in the capital earlier, but the way crime levels in Delhi are steadily rising is alarming. He said the elderly are being murdered and bullets are being fired on the streets.

Sanjay Singh said, "Within twenty-four hours, there have been nine murders in Delhi. Three members of a family were murdered. Another AAP MLA Sushil Gupta said that his party has submitted a memorandum to Home Minister Amit Shah on the law and order situation in Delhi.
