BJP contestant Raghunandan Rao defeated TRS contender Solipeta Sujatha by a margin. In the by-election, he won with a majority of 1,079 votes. The election results have been pressed by the BJP and TRS parties that the margin is narrow and the main factor is changing with the calculation results of each round.
