Dulquer Salman to play a cricketer in film based on The Zoya Factor

Karwaan fame Dulquer Salman is to do a movie alongside Sonam Kapoor which is the adoption of the novel ‘The Zoya factor’. The novel is a story of Zoya Solanki a Rajput girl who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job as an executive in an advertising agency and ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team in the Cricket World Cup. According to sources, Dulquer Salman is to play the role of a character based on Virat Kohli in this film.

The actor made his debut in 2012 through Malayalam film. The actor was last seen in the Hindi movie ‘Karwaan’ alongside Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar. Now there is a report that actor is to play the role of Virat Kohli in a film based on the Anuja Chouhan's 2008 novel ‘The Zoya factor’. On asking about this film he said that the book was written a long time back and he doesn’t think it is based on anyone in particular. It is a fiction. He further added that tackle the cricket angle in the film, he needs to prepare accordingly and look convincing. The actor also informed that they will start the shooting by the end this month.
