A new taxpayer e-Service module called Aaykar Setu in New Delhi today have been launched by the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. This is an e-initiative to provide better taxpayer services by the Central Board of Direct Taxes.
It has live chat facility, dynamic updates and important links to various processes within ITD in a single module.
With this, the IT Department aims to communicate directly with taxpayers providing tax information and tax services at their fingertips.
All taxpayers who wish to receive such SMS alerts are advised to register their mobile numbers in Aaykar Setu module.
