Tremors were felt 2 times in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands with moderate intensity on Tuesday morning. The National Centre for Sysmology reported that the first blow of magnitude 4.3 was felt at the Richter level near Port Blair in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Tuesday. According to NCS, the first tremor occurred at 6:27 a.m. The second blow came about an hour later at 7.21 am with a magnitude of 4.6.

Earlier, tremors were also felt in Moirang in Manipur at 8.16 pm on Monday night. These shocks came with a magnitude of 3.7. Its depth was 58 km from the ground. Tremors were also felt in Kohima in Nagaland on the first Sunday night from Manipur at 12:38 pm. The magnitude of the earthquake in Kohima was 3.2.
