The National Center for Sysmology reported that the tremors occurred at 9:54 p.m. People did not feel much of the earth trembling as the intensity of the earthquake was low.

The earth is said to be divided into several layers and a variety of plates are found under the ground. However, sometimes these plates slip, causing tremors. Sometimes it also vibrates more and increases intensity. In India, some zones have been set up based on the geographical movement in the layers of the earth's inner layer. Based on these possibilities, India is divided into 5 zones, which indicates where India is most prone to earthquakes. It is most prone to earthquakes in Zone-5 and is less than 3 in 4.
