2.8 magnitude earthquake hits near Mumbai

Mumbai: Tremors have been felt in the city on Friday. The intensity of the earthquake on the rickshaw scale is measured at 2.8. The earthquake center was 10 km deep, 91 km from north Mumbai. But it has not revealed any damage so far. It is noteworthy that the tremors were also felt at palghar in Maharashtra at 3.47 pm on Tuesday, 3 days ago. There was a panic in the entire region as soon as the tremors were felt . People came out of their residence. However, there were reports of loss of life and property due to the tremors.

However, the tremors were felt at Palghar in Maharashtra on July 28 at 1.19 pm. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 2.8 on a rickshaw scale. However, there was no report of any damage due to the low intensity of the earthquake.

For your information, let us tell you that the tremors were also felt at 24.30 p.m. July 20, 2017 at palghar. It was measured 3.1 on the rickshaw scale. However, there was no casualty from the earthquake due to low intensity. Continuous tremors have been felt in different parts of India for the last few days.
