Earthquake tremors have been felt in Jammu and Kashmir around 7:50 pm on Monday. Earthquake tremors in Kishtwar aroused people. The epicenter was Tajikistan and its magnitude measured 6.3 on the Richter scale.

The tremor was felt in Jammu and Kashmir on February 8 at 4.56 am. The Richter scale had an intensity of 3.5. Earthquake tremors have been felt in Jammu and Kashmir in January as well. Even on December 19, the earth was shaken in the valley.
