Its intensity on the Richter scale was 3.5. The earthquake has been confirmed by the National Center for Seismology.

It has been learned that earthquake tremors were felt in Jammu and Kashmir last month also. The last time the earth was shaken in the valley on the 19th. A few days before that, due to an earthquake in Jammu and Kashmir, the whole earth has been shaken. The earthquake was then ten kilometres below ground level at Gandoh in Doda district.

According to the information received, the earthquake of the last 11 twilights was high. The intensity of the earthquake was then measured at 5.1 and for a while, there have been tensed situation. People also came out of the houses.
