New Delhi: Health Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyendar Jain's troubles in delhi's Arvind Kejriwal government seem to be mounting. The Enforcement Directorate  (ED) has raided the residence of minister Satyendra Jain, arrested in connection with a money laundering case, on Monday morning. According to ED sources, the investigating agency team is currently conducting raids at satyendra jain's residence and several other locations.

Sources said the search operation was carried out by the investigating agency at the residence of Satyendra Jain, who is in the custody of the ED till June 9, in connection with a hawala transaction related to a Kolkata-based company. The ED team is currently present at satyendra jain's residence and is conducting searches. Earlier, the Delhi High Court had stayed the lower court's order allowing the presence of a lawyer during the interrogation of minister Satyendar Jain. Satyendra Jain was arrested by the ED on May 30 in a money laundering case. The lower court had allowed jain's presence at such a distance during his interrogation, from where he could not hear anything but could see the process.

The judge had on June 3 reserved its order on a petition filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) challenging the order. The judge said that there is no FIR or complaint registered against the AAP leader, so he cannot claim the right to the presence of his lawyer while recording his statement.
