Ranchi: The Enforcement Directorate is conducting raids at 20 locations of IAS officer Pooja Singhal. According to reports, the Enforcement Directorate is also conducting raids at the premises of IAS Pooja in Muzaffarpur (Bihar) in addition to Ranchi. Panchavati Residency, Block No. 9, Chandni Chowk Hariom Tower, New Building, Lalpur and Pulse Hospital in Ranchi have been raided in Ranchi. It is being reported that this action of the central agency is being taken in the case related to Ramvinod Sinha. The entire incident is related to the MGNREGA scam.
Ramvinod was a junior engineer in Khunti, then Pooja Singhal was the DC of Khunti. The Jharkhand High Court had ordered that the Enforcement Directorate should file a counter affidavit in the case. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey tweeted about the raid. Nishikant Dubey wrote, 'Jharkhand government means CM Hemant Soren's favour to Puja Singhal ji, who allocated mines to the chief minister, brother, operatives and touts, after all, Enforcement Directorate's raid is going on at 20 places. This raid is going on in Ranchi, Delhi, Rajasthan, and Mumbai.
According to reports received from sources, these hideouts are in Ranchi, Khunti in Jharkhand, Jaipur in Rajasthan, Faridabad and Gurugram in Haryana, Kolkata in West Bengal, Muzaffarpur and Delhi NCR in Bihar. It is being reported that a huge amount of cash (about 25 crore) has been reported to have been recovered from the residence of Pooja Singhal. It is also known that the machine has been called for counting the recovered cash. The money has been received from his Chartered Accountant (CA).
