The trouble for Jacqueline Fernandez is increasing these days as she was named as one of the accused in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar 200 extortion case. The actress was accused of taking gifts from Sukesh Chandrashekhar and she was aware of Sukesh Chandrashekar's illegal activities.

On Thursday a Delhi court on Thursday heard the bail plea of Jacqueline Fernandez in connection with the ₹200 crore money laundering case, the court asked why the Bollywood actor has not yet been arrested. ED told court today that Actor Jacqueline Fernandez can escape the country easily as she is not short of money arguing against bail for her over charges linked to a ₹ 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

The court questioned ED why the actor had not been arrested so far, "Why haven't you arrested Jacqueline yet despite issuing an LOC? Other accused are in jail. Why adopt a pick-and-choose policy?"

The Enforcement Directorate's main argument against the actor getting bail. ED said, "We have not seen ₹ 50 lakh in cash in our entire life but Jacqueline frittered away ₹ 7.14 crore for fun. She has tried every trick in the book to try and escape because she has enough money.”The Enforcement Directorate has issued an alert - a Lookout Circular (LOC) - in airports to stop the actor from leaving the country.

Earlier Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s Letter released by his Lawyer. Sukesh wrote, “It's very, very unfortunate that Jacqueline has been made an accused in the PMLA (money laundering) case… We were in a relationship and if I have given her and her family gifts, what is their fault… She never asked me for anything except loving her and standing by her...”
