The Egyptian government has announced that mosques will be opened soon. Devotees will soon be allowed to enter mosques for Friday prayers. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the circumstances of Covid-19. As of now, there are less than 200 cases in the country. Egypt's Minister of Religious Affairs Mohammad Mukhtar Gomma said that weekly mass prayers are expected to be started from August 28.

There was a ban on these activities for about 5 months. Devotees have to take care of physical distance and wear masks to prevent infection. He told that Friday prayers lasting for 1 hour will now be only for 10 minutes. So far, total coronavirus infection cases in Egypt are about 97 thousand and the death toll is 5 thousand 1 hundred 97. On Wednesday, there were 161 infected cases in Egypt and 13 people died due to corona.

At the end of last year, the coronavirus that came out of Wuhan in China caught the whole world in just 3-4 months. On March 11, the World Health Organization has declared it a corona epidemic. After this, lock down started in the world, all public activities were banned. Countries sealed their borders. According to Johns Hopkins University, as of Thursday morning, the cases of infection with coronavirus in the world are 2 crore 23 lakh 33 thousand 2 hundred 8, while the number of deaths has increased to 7 lakh 86 thousand 1 hundred 85. All the countries around the world are infected, but the worst condition in this is the powerful country of America, where the recession has come due to infection. So far, the total number of infected people is 55 lakh 27 thousand 3 hundred 6 and the number of deaths is 1 lakh 73 thousand 1 hundred 14. In second place is the name of Brazil where there are 34 lakh 56 thousand 6 hundred 52 cases of infection and the number of deaths is 1 lakh 11 thousand 1 hundred.
