On Thursday, big news has come from the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi. He is about to take a two-day visit to China to join the second round of strategic discussions of Sino-Pak foreign ministers. In a video message released before leaving, Qureshi said that he was going on a very important visit to China and that he had a discussion with Prime Minister Imran Khan before the visit. According to Don's report, Qureshi said, "I am going on a very important trip to China. Yesterday (Wednesday) I consulted with the Prime Minister regarding this visit. My delegation will represent the political and military leadership of the country. I hope that my meeting with Foreign Minister Wang Yi will prove beneficial for both countries".

According to a statement by a foreign office, Qureshi, who is accompanied by a senior officer, will visit the Hainan state of China where he will lead the Pakistani delegation in the discussion. State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will lead the Chinese side during the discussion. During the talks, both sides will consult on Covid-19, bilateral relations and cooperation on regional and international matters of mutual interest.

This visit will play an important role in making Pakistan-China 'All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership' more profound. Also, in many cases will deepen strategic communication and coordination with China. The first round of strategic discussions of the China-Pakistan foreign ministers took place in March 2019.
