CAIRO: Griffin Cuomo's mother is suing Wendy Pence Wealth Management, where both her son and Remy worked, as Remy Hany Mounir, son of Egyptian minister Fahim Griffin, is on trial for the alleged murders of Cuomo and Jonathan Baham.

According to police, on April 19, Faheem attacked and killed his co-worker Griffin Cuomo, age 23, before killing Cuomo's roommate Jonathan Baham, age 23, in their Anaheim apartment.

According to the lawsuit, Pence Wealth hired 27-year-old Faheem without conducting a background check and disregarding reports of threatening behavior from Griffin and other employees.

According to Raymond Bouchet, an attorney involved in the case, "Griffin's death was actually the result of Pence Wealth Management's negligence and failure to take any measures to protect Griffin."

"Remy demonstrated serious mental health problems. He began to intimidate and harass people. But when they brought these problems and concerns to Pence, Pence brushed them off," he continued.

According to Bouchet, "Laila and Nabila had a close relationship, and on the surface there is nothing wrong with that."
