The controversy queen of the Television Industry, Rakhi Sawant remains in news for different reasons. Recently Rakhi grabbed all the limelight as she appeared in Bigg Boss Marathi. Rakhi shocked everyone by sharing marriage pictures with her Boyfriend Adil Durrani revealing that she got married to Adil before seven months.
Adil has now accepted his marriage with Rakhi but earlier he had denied the wedding with the actress and therefore various people called it Love Jihad. Rakhi Sawant in the recent interview opens up about the Love Jihad angle said she did not know what is love jihad she said, “First of all I don’t know what ‘Love Jihad’ is. I only know love.”
She further said, “ We don’t believe in caste. He accepted me, I accepted him. Humne ek dusre ko Qubool kiya hai. We don’t have religion between us. We married each other. He kept my name Fatima. And I completely surrender to the name and accept it. I’ve accepted Islam. Maine mere husband ko paane liye, jo kar sakti thi, ek pyaar paane ke liye, jo mai kar sakti thi, Woh sab kiya.” Earlier on being asked about changing religion said, "This is Hindustan not Taliban." She said that she has no problem in accepting Islam, because everyone is allowed here.
Earlier Adil had denied the marriage but now Adil had said that his and Rakhi's marriage is real. He is persuading his parents, because they have not accepted Rakhi till their end. Earlier Rakhi said, "Yes, I got married to Adil in July last year after three months of knowing him. We had a nikah ceremony and a court marriage. Since he stopped me from disclosing it, I remained tightlipped for the past seven months. He felt that it would get difficult to find a suitor for his sister if people got to know about our marriage. According to him, tum Rakhi Sawant ke saath judoge toh tumne badnaami lee hai.”
