Film director Apoorva Lakhia is now going to work in a web series. Apoorva has directed films like 'Shootout at Lokhandwala' and 'Hasina Parker'. Her next project is also based on a story revolving around gangsters and police. Recently its information has been revealed. Along with this information has come that Apoorva will release her new project in Ekta Kapoor's web channel Alt Balaji as a web series.
According to the latest report, the show will be inspired by the life of encounter-specialist Daya Nayak. But after spreading these reports, Apoorva said, 'Real life characters, especially gangster and police characters have been used so much on screen that they have become boring now. We have searched on different people and writing fiction from the 90s and 2000s.
Apart from this, she said, "Our show is based on the friendship between a policeman and a gangster. With a decade of reality when encounter police came into existence and the gangsters became superstars. It is interesting as well as being dramatic". Angad Bedi and Sikander Kher will play the role of police and gangsters in the show. Akshay Choubey will direct the show as an alt Balaji offering. This series will go on the floor in the next month. Alt Balaji has already streamed many shows in the past, everyone has expectations from this show as well.
