Kolkata: After the Bihar Assembly elections, now the rumor has been intensified about the proposed election of West Bengal next year. Political parties have already started the election campaign in the state and now the Election Commission has also started its preparations. The Election Commission has convened an all-party meeting on Monday, in which the West Bengal elections will be discussed with political parties.

The Election Commission is now gradually focusing its attention towards West Bengal, where assembly elections are likely to be held in the next few months. In the time of Corona epidemic, the way the Election Commission has conducted elections in Bihar, it is expected to conduct elections in West Bengal on the same model. On the second day of the all-party meeting, representatives of the Election Commission from Delhi will also hold a virtual meeting with the district officials on 10 November.

Let us tell you that in the 2011 assembly elections, Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee had eliminated the leftist power in West Bengal for three decades. Since then, Mamta Banerjee has remained in power and is in the process of becoming the CM of the state for the third time. The BJP has emerged as the biggest concern for Mamata Banerjee, who has made her place as the main opposition party in Bengal.
