New Delhi: The Election Commission can announce the schedule for Bihar assembly elections at any time. With the assembly elections, elections are also proposed in one Lok Sabha and 63 assembly constituencies in the states. In view of this, the election Commission is in constant touch with the state government. It is reported that the election Commission can announce the assembly election schedule by Tuesday.

In Bihar, the term of the Assembly is till 29th November, the election commission has the challenge of holding elections between Dussehra, Deepawali and Chhath Parv. In Bihar, elections are to be held for 243 assembly constituencies in the assembly elections. Talking about the 2015 assembly elections, the elections were announced on 9th September and the entire process was completed in 5 phases, after which the results of the elections were declared on 8th November, but at this moment, due to the corona crisis, the election Commission has made a number of special provisions which have introduced physical distance and many other rules from publicity rallies to the nomination process.

In Bihar, the assembly elections also have a challenge like the growing infection of the corona epidemic, floods, and the Naxal problem. To deal with this, the election Commission will have to carry out the election process in a combined manner and there is a need for strong arrangements.
