New York City: Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, who recently bought Twitter, is "helping" Indian-origin technology executive Sriram Krishnan with a redesign of the social media behemoth.
At Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, Krishnan is a general partner (a16z).

Krishnan invests in early-stage consumer startups, and according to his profile on Andreessen Horowitz's website, he sits on the boards of Bitsky, Hopepin and Polyworks.
Krishnan held several senior product positions before joining a16z, and according to his profile, he most recently "led the core consumer teams at Twitter, where he focuses on home timelines, new user experiences, search, discovery, and audiences." Including products were responsible for the increase."
According to his profile, he previously built and oversaw several mobile advertising products for Facebook and Snap, including Facebook Audience Network, one of the largest networks for display advertising, and Snap's Direct Response advertising business. Krishnan began his career at Microsoft, where he worked on various projects related to Windows Azure.

According to his LinkedIn profile, he obtained his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology from SRM Engineering College at Anna University.
Last week, Musk completed a USD 44 billion acquisition of Twitter and fired Parag Agarwal as CEO, Vijaya Gadde as general counsel, Ned Segal as chief financial officer and Sean Edgett as chief legal officer.
According to the New York Times, Musk "plans to start laying off employees" on Twitter. The report claimed that some managers were being asked to "prepare a list of employees to be cut", citing sources with knowledge of the situation.

Also, according to media reports, Twitter may soon start charging around $20 for account verification, which is shown with a blue check mark next to the user's name. "The entire verification process is currently being improved," Musk wrote in a tweet.
