New Delhi: Tesla Chief Elon Musk has once again become the richest man in the world, surpassing Jeff Bezos. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk's net worth increased from $ 9.3 billion to $ 199.9 billion after his rocket company SpaceX completed another funding round.

Musk overtook Amazon's Jeff Bezos, who again won the title of the world's richest man earlier this week, as Tesla's shares broke due to Musk's overall wealth decline. Musk lost $ 4.6 billion after Tesla's shares declined 2.4 percent. With this, they were ranked second in the index. At that time with $ 191.2 billion, the founders of Amazon came back on top of the rich list in January 2021 after being relegated to second place for six weeks due to a steady decline in Tesla shares.

If today, Bezos has assets of $ 194.2 billion. This means Musk is $ 6 billion ahead of Bezos. For Jeff Bezos, the year 2021 has been eventful for Amazon's founder as well as his decision to step down as CEO and take on Andy Jessie, currently head of Amazon Web Services. Bezos transformed the company started as an online bookstore in 1995 into a $ 1.7 trillion global e-commerce company.
