Popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav, who is a winner of the reality show 'Bigg Boss OTT,' recently received a death threat during a cricket match. On Sunday, during a match at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, Elvish Yadav and comedian Munawar Faruqui faced each other. In this match, both stars were captains of their respective teams. Elvish Yadav captained the Haryana Hunters, while Munawar Faruqui led the Mumbai Disruptors.

Shefali Bagga was the presenter, and during her presence, there was some light-hearted banter between the two captains before the match began. However, after Elvish Yadav received a death threat while playing against Munawar Faruqui, there was a commotion among the stadium and officials. The stadium had to be cleared because the safety of the celebrities was paramount. Videos and photos of the match have gone viral on social media. For security reasons, the stadium’s entry doors were closed. There are also videos on social media showing Munawar Faruqui’s fans heavily supporting their favorite comedian on the field. After the stadium was evacuated, the game continued with only management and a few officials present. An official statement from Elvish and the organizers is still awaited.

Earlier this year, during the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), Elvish Yadav and Munawar Faruqui were seen bonding well. They were seen hugging each other and taking photos together during the match. However, this camaraderie upset some fans, leading trolls to label Elvish Yadav as a traitor. Some individuals even accused him of being anti-Hindu due to his friendly behavior with Munawar.
