Sahibganj: A shameful incident has come to light from Sahibganj in Jharkhand. A 60-year-old woman was stripped naked and tied to a tree by some persons here. People said the woman was a witch. At the same time, the victim claims that she was released on the condition of paying Rs 21,000. The woman has lodged an FIR against the culprits.  

Barhet police station in-charge Gaurav Kumar said that a case has been registered on the basis of the woman's complaint, and a search is on for the absconding criminals. They will be arrested and interrogated. At the same time, in this case, the people of the village say that this incident took place 20 days ago. The culprit and the victim are neighbours of each other. There was a fight between the two over something, due to which the woman has made such allegations. Giving details of the case, the police said that some persons have been questioned in the case, but so far the matter was being solved by the gram panchayat.  

Another shocking incident is coming out from Jharkhand, here a girl named Jyoti Sharma, who is modelling here, has come out as the kingpin of the brown sugar and drugs business in Ranchi and surrounding areas. Ranchi police have arrested five persons associated with the racket, including Jyoti and her mother Munni Devi. Jyoti was earlier arrested in November last year with brown sugar. After coming out of jail on bail, she re-spread the business. Apart from the model and her mother, the accused have been identified as Arjun Sharma, Balram Sharma and Rahul Sharma. All of them have been caught in the Sukhdev Nagar and Pandra areas of Ranchi. 36 grams of brown sugar and Rs 2.90 lakh in cash and some mobile phones were recovered from her.
