Belagavi: A training plane has made an emergency landing during training in Karnataka. Due to the emergency landing, both the pilots on board have suffered injuries and have been admitted to an Air Force hospital for treatment. A day earlier on Monday, an Apache helicopter of the Indian Air Force made an emergency landing in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh. The Air Force has informed that the aircraft was fixed and sent off a few hours after the emergency landing. There were two crew members on board and there were no casualties.

However, the incident took place on Tuesday (May 30) in Karnataka, where a two-seater training aircraft belonging to Redbird Aviation had to make an emergency landing near Sambra Airport in Belagavi. The plane had to make an emergency landing due to a technical fault during the flight. However, both pilots suffered minor injuries during this time. Both pilots have been admitted to the Air Force Hospital.

Sources said that this training plane with a pilot and a trainee pilot took off from Sambra Airport in Belagavi at 9.30 am today, however, a technical fault was reported in the aircraft during the flight. Due to a technical snag in the aircraft, the aircraft had to make an emergency landing and landed in a field in Honihala village of Belagavi district. It was a trainee aircraft for trainers at the Flight Training Centre in Belagavi.
