PANAJI: Goa's Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant, ceremoniously launched a two-day gathering known as the YouTubers Conclave in Panaji. The event, titled "Crafting a Development Narrative via YouTube: Surmounting Challenges, Embracing Opportunities," was a collaborative effort between the Goa Government and Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini. This significant assembly brought together prominent YouTube influencers from all corners of the nation.
In his address to the attendees, CM Sawant underscored the pivotal role played by YouTubers in steering constructive transformations within society. He underscored their distinctive ability to connect with individuals and applauded their endeavors as influential opinion shapers. Their impact was especially recognized in realms such as policy, technology, governance, development, and infrastructure.
CM Sawant also disclosed an ambitious vision for the metamorphosis of Panaji into a Solar City, reflecting his commitment to sustainable urban development.
Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, President of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and Vice Chairman of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini, accentuated the significance of illuminating society through the dispersion of information and insightful evaluation. He lauded YouTubers for adopting this enlightening role and expressed gratitude to the Goa Government for its steadfast support in orchestrating this notable conclave.
The event welcomed esteemed personalities including Jayant Kulkarni, the Executive Director of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini; Ajinkya Kulkarni, a tech professional and social media integrator; and Ankita Mishra, IAS, who serves as the CEO of ESG, among other distinguished guests.
The YouTubers Conclave attracted participation from creators across India, thoughtfully curated by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini. Among them was Sawani Shetye, a prominent Goan YouTuber, who actively contributed to the dynamic discussions and sessions.
As a symbolic gesture, CM Sawant unveiled an E-booklet dedicated to the themes of the conclave. This assembly of YouTubers serves as an interactive platform for creators, influencers, and visionary leaders to collectively explore pathways toward nurturing a forward-looking developmental narrative, harnessing the influential potential of the YouTube medium.
