Jammu: Recently, there is an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Pulwama of Jammu and Kashmir. As soon as it is learned that 2 terrorists have been killed. There are bullets on both sides. The terrorists surrounded the militants in Tral, after which the terrorists started firing. A police officer said that the security forces had cordoned off after receiving confirmed information about the presence of terrorists in the area. Not much information has been found in this matter yet.

According to sources, on Saturday, two militants Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba were arrested by security officials in South Kashmir's Kulgam district. Along with him, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Devinder Singh, posted at Srinagar International Airport, was arrested along with Hizbul militants Naveed Babu and Asif Rathar at Vanpoh in Kulgam district. An AK-47, 2 pistols and some grenades were also recovered from them by security officials.

Devinder Singh was given the President's Police Medal on 15 August last year, where he was involved in the anti-hijacking squad of Jammu and Kashmir Police. Before which after the attack on Parliament in 2001, his name came in the discussion. He was then part of the Special Operations Group as Inspector and after the Anti Terror Operation, he was promoted to DSP. However, Devinder Singh was removed from the SOG after being accused of recovery. He was also suspended for some time and then got posted in Srinagar PCR.
