Jabalpur: Recently, two and a half percent cashback will also be given to vehicles who deposit 'FASTag' or online toll charges on tolls on the national highways of the country. On the same vehicles, those who do not fasten and do not recharge, will have to pay toll cash by going to the cashlane of Tolnaka. This information was given by Paras Bansal, deputy manager of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in response to readers' questions in 'Hello Nayiduniya' on Friday.
At the same time, when this was noticed, the NHAI official said that Fastag service has started on the tolls of national highways (NH) of the country from 15 December 2019. The Center has started this facility with the objective of preserving the environment and saving the precious time of the citizens. Except for agricultural and two-wheeler vehicles, it is mandatory for all other vehicles to take FASTag.
This fact came to light:
-Fastag can be taken from online e-shopping companies, private and government banks and NHAI office.
- The cost of fastag for car-jeep is one hundred and margin money (bail amount) is two hundred i.e. total three hundred rupees.
- The speed of the vehicle with fastag around Tolanaka should not exceed 10-40 km.
- Keep a distance of 5 meters between fasted vehicles.
- Recharge after fasting in vehicle, only then online toll will be collected.
-If the fastag is not recharged, there will be a facility to pay cash toll for the vehicle by going to the cashlane.
-By linking the fastag to a bank account, you can avoid it to be recharged again and again.
-Fastag not engaged vehicles will have to deposit double amount on tolls.
