Encounter of two female Naxalites with prize of 28 lakhs in Balaghat, many weapons recovered

Balaghat: The Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh has been struggling with the Naxalite problem for a long time. Balaghat police killed six notorious Naxals last year. On the other hand, once again in Dalam, two senior women Naxalites, who were area commanders and guards, have been shot dead. A reward of Rs 14 lakh each was declared for both the women Naxals. Balaghat police have confirmed this. These Naxalites had an encounter with the police in the Garhi police station area.

Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh said that in the early hours of April 22, an encounter took place between Hawkforce and Naxalites in Kadla forest under Garhi police station. Due to this, the soldiers have killed two Naxalites. The names of these two Naxalites are Sunita and Sarita. Sunita was Area Commander in Bhoram Deo, while at present she is ACM and is working in Tanda Dalam and Vistar Dalam. Apart from this, Sarita has been the guard of Naxalite Kabir; she was ACM in Khatia Mocha Dalam and is currently active in Vistar Dalam.

At the same time, guns, cartridges, large quantities of Naxalite weapons, and food items have been seized from both of them. A reward of Rs 14 lakh each was declared for both the women Naxals. After this encounter, the Balaghat police intensified their intensive search operation in the forest. However, detailed news of Naxalites coming here and the encounter is still awaited. After getting information about the killing of two senior women Naxalites in a Naxalite encounter, Balaghat Zone's Inspector General of Police Sanjay Kumar, Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh, and Hawkforce CO reached the spot and took stock.
