RAMPUR: Preparations have now been initiated to tighten the screws of money laundering against Rampur SP MP Azam Khan for forcibly and grabbing land by blowing up rules. For this, ED has initiated FIRs in cases relating to Azam Khan. According to the information received, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also sought action against the former minister in the SP government and MP Mohammad Azam Khan from Rampur and details of his property.

It is now believed that Azam Khan could be in trouble even in the ED probe. The Enforcement Directorate has sought information from the District Magistrate of Rampur and also copies of cases registered in all cases ranging from illegal possession of land to police. The DM of Rampur has said that we are collecting the documents that ED has asked for.

Further, in this case, they have stated that the ED has asked in the letter to inform how many investigations we have done and how many properties and assets are there and how much of the illegal occupation is there.

Let us inform you that in the last few days, a total of 27 FIRs have been lodged against Azam Khan, Ale Hassan Khan and Muhammad Ali Johar University in Rampur and 25 FIRs have been lodged by farmers and two FIRs by the district administration. Azam has also been declared as Bhumafia.
