Lucknow: The investigation into the property of notorious Uttar Pradesh gangster Vikas Dubey and those involved in his network has now been handed over to the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted for the same has entrusted the investigation of the case to ED. The SIT, which was set up in its investigation, had collected evidence of illegal movable and zone property documents worth Rs 150 crore against Vikas Dubey and his network people. The UP government's SIT has now referred the matter to ED for a detailed investigation into the matter.

The SIT was formed by the UP government under the leadership of Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Bhureddi. The report was first reported to the government after the SIT investigation was completed. Action is now being taken against the accused on the basis of this report. The Yogi Adityanath government of UP now faces the challenge of disclosing the illegal assets of Vikas Dubey's protégés and their associates.

The government has to find out where Vikas Dubey has invested his black money. In addition, who has the property in its network? The investigation into the case has therefore been handed over to ed, the agency investigating the economic offences.
