Bengaluru: Another accused in a high-profile drug case in a drama, Aditya Alva, has been arrested. Aditya is the son of former minister late Jeevaraj Alva. The accused was said to have been absconding for five months after which he was now arrested. A police officer has confirmed this.

It may be noted that the state police had initiated action against drug traffickers, suppliers, and rave party organizers, since Aditya Alva, son of former minister late Biraj Alva, had been absconding for the past five months. He has recently been arrested in Chennai on Monday night on the basis of a secret notice. A police official said, Aditya Alva, who was absconding in a drug case registered at Cottonpet police station, has been apprehended from Chennai.

The police official said Kannada film actor Ragini Dwivedi, Sanjana Galrani, party organizer Viren Khanna, Aditya Agarwal, RTO Clerk K Ravi Shankar, some Nigerian nationals, and many others have already been arrested in the case. The police had launched a crackdown on drug traffickers and consumers after the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested three people from Bengaluru with narcotics last year.
