New Delhi: Team India lost the third and final match of the T20 series played at Trent Bridge on Sunday (July 10). England had given India a record target of 216, but India could only score 198 runs. After which England won the match by 17 runs. Suryakumar Yadav scored a whirlwind century for India, but he could not lead the team to victory. With this, India has captured the series 2-1.

From England, Team India was given a huge target of 216 runs. Chasing which Team India got off to a bad start. Skipper Rohit Sharma (11), Virat Kohli (11) and Rishabh Pant (1) lost their wickets cheaply. But Suryakumar Yadav played a fast-paced inning of 117 runs, at one point in time it seemed that he would persuade Team India of victory. However, in the 19th over, he lost his wicket and the match slipped out of India's hands. Suryakumar Yadav scored 117 off just 55 balls, which included 14 fours and 6 sixes. During this inning, the strike rate of the SKY was 212.72 during this period. He has become the fifth player to score a century in T20 Internationals for India, while this is the second-highest individual score in T20 Internationals for India.

Chasing the huge target, India lost their first three wickets at a score of just 31. This was followed by a 119-run partnership between Suryakumar Yadav and Shreyas Iyer, which took place in just  62 balls. Shreyas Iyer could score only 28 runs, but Suryakumar Yadav's batting continued. Apart from these two batsmen from Team India's side, no batsman could do anything and India lost.

Let us tell you that, after batting first, the England team started with a smoke, captain Jos Buttler looked in good rhythm, but could only score 18 runs. Jason Roy (27), and Phil Salt (8) were able to score runs. But the real man for England was David Malan, who scored 77 runs in just 39 balls. It also includes 6 fours and 5 sixes. In the end, Liam Livingstone played a whirlwind inning of 42 runs in 29 balls. Liam hit 4 sixes in his innings. England scored 215 in this match, which is their highest score against India in T20 Internationals.
