EPFO has directed 6 crores of its account holders to take precautions regarding their account-related information. the EPFO has issued an alert to keep all these things and the accounts of their account holders safe. The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has advised its account holders to restrict PF accounts and personal information to themselves. They have also refused to share it with anyone. At the same time, EPFO has also alerted its account holders to download any kind of app.

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation issued the warning in a tweet. The alert says that employees' provident fund organisation never asks its account holders for UAN number, Aadhaar number, PAN information or bank account information on phone calls. Also, EPFO never calls his account holders.
