EPL: Liverpool complete 'half-century' of invincible campaign by defeating Wolves at home ground

In English Premier League football, Liverpool beat the Wolves 1–0 with the help of 'War' to regain the lead by 13 points and extend their unbeaten campaign to 50 matches at home. On the other hand, Chelsea made an excellent comeback and defeated Arsenal 2–1 in the final moments with two goals within 4 minutes. After losing to Arsenal, Chelsea have been able to maintain their place on the points table. Arsenal were heading towards victory with Pierre Emerick's goal in the 13th minute but Jorginho (83rd) and Tam Abraham (87th minute) turned the game around. Manchester City is still 14 points behind Liverpool but has narrowed the gap to second-placed Leicester by a 2–0 win over Sheffield United.

Sergio Aguera and Kevin Di Bruyne scored in the second half for City. Manchester City has 42 points while Leicester has 43 points. Liverpool topped the list with 55 points. Chelsea is in fourth place with 35 points. In the controversial match played at Anfield, Liverpool scored an unbeaten campaign at their home ground in the league with 50 matches from Sadio Mane's goal. Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp said that if it was easy to win so many matches, many teams would have done so.

Mane's goal in the 42nd minute was previously ruled out as the referee felt that the ball was struck by Adam Lalna but after a 'wise' review, the decision of referee Anthony Taylor was changed.
