India's leading engineering group Escorts has launched the country's first electric tractor. On Wednesday, Escorts put the concept of the electric tractor and hydrostatic tractor in front of everyone.
Along with this, the company has stated that the platforms and construction-related equipment will be available on this platform. There is a possibility of spending between 20 and 30 crores on this plan.
In addition to this significant effort of the company, the company has also mentioned about its flagship brands Farmtrac for Domestic and Export Market, and portfolio with 22 HP to 90 HP range under Power Trek. It is sold through 43 International Distributors. The company is telling that this initiative is a part of Exclusive 2017 event and manufacturing.
Escorts's new product includes a new escort tractor series with 70 to 90 horsepower, a compact tractor in a range of 22 to 30 hp, crossover tractor for paddy cultivation and a cabin with a CRSI engine following the category 4's Emission Standard is included in this tractor.
Escorts MD Nikhil Nanda on the launch of this tractor told that the company is feeling honored to launch the Electric Concept. They have introduced these products in view of today's situation and the needs of the farmers. This product is a sample of our superior engineering. This new tractor series will give a different experience and comfort while farming.
