India furious over interference of these countries in internal affairs

On Tuesday, India has strongly criticized the reference to Jammu and Kashmir in the joint statement of China and Pakistan. Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said that we expect other countries not to comment on our internal affairs and respect our sovereignty. The Kashmir issue arose during talks held in Beijing on Tuesday between Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Pakistani counterpart Arif Alvi.

China said that it has a keen eye on the current situation. In a joint statement issued on the website of China's Foreign Ministry, the two sides discussed the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. The Pakistani side apprised the Chinese side of the latest developments, including their concerns, stance and current urgent issues. Reacting to this, Ravish Kumar said that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and the issues related to it are internal affairs of the country.

Ravish Kumar said that we reject the mention of Jammu and Kashmir in the joint statement of Pakistan and China issued after the recent visit of the President of Pakistan to China. In response to a question, he said that we expect other countries, including China, to not comment on India's internal affairs and respect its sovereignty and integrity. India strongly reiterates its concerns to both China and Pakistan over the so-called illegal 'China-Pakistan Economic Corridor' project in the territory of occupied India.
