Brahmastra is one of the most expensive Indian films to date and has reportedly been produced on a budget of over Rs 400 crore. The movie is already called for boycott meanwhile as per some reports the number of Advance Booking is very good and some Trade Analysts even predicted a good collection in the future.

In a recent  interview when Ranbir Kapoor was asked about the advance booking the actor said, “We cannot take these figures and all seriously because till the audience doesn’t see the film, the game doesn’t begin. The film is made for the audience. I think on Friday, we will get to know where we are, kitne paani ke andar hain (how well we will fare). But the feeling is, of course, positive. We have come as Shah Rukh Khan from Dilwale Le Jaayenge, asking you, ‘come watch our movie!’ That’s all.”

Speaking about Alia Bhatt’s reaction said, “The most excited is Alia now. She is a trade analyst now. She is noting everything, this much is open here, this is the response there.”

The actor further said, “But actually, we have got our friend Ayan only yesterday. Till yesterday, he was working on the film. We always wanted to have this shared experience, spend these days together, feel every emotion. So yes, it’s a very exciting time.”

Brahmastra is directed by Ayan Mukerji and is scheduled to hit the theatres in four other languages – Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Apart from Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Brahmastra: Part One– Shiva also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles. The film is intended to serve as the first film in a planned trilogy as part of its own cinematic universe called Astraverse. Shah Rukh Khan will also be making a special appearance in Ranbir-Alia's film and will be essaying the role of 'Vanar Astra.'
