Whoever hears the voice of Mansi of Katihar district, becomes her admirer. 16-year-old Mansi has had no vision in her eyes since birth, but the magic of her voice goes on everyone. Mansi also participates in various programs from village to district level. She doesn't need any identity in the district. Due to her melodious voice, the people of the district also call her as Lata Mangeshkar. Coming from a poor family, Mansi's family sees her future in the dark. Her father runs a salon in the village itself.

Government help needed: According to media reports, Mansi, a resident of Durgapur street in Katihar, wants to do something at the national level in the field of singing, but poverty has made her life ahead difficult. Mansi is the youngest of 3 children of her parents. Her father Manoj Sharma runs a salon and supports the entire family in some way. Manoj Kumar says that her daughter sings very well. If government assistance is available, it can raise the name of Katihar and Bihar at the national level.

Social organization is helping: In view of this talent and passion of the blind Mansi, the team of Lions Club Katihar is helping them in every possible way by visiting their homes and encouraging them. Pankaj Purve, former President of Lions Club Katihar and former GST Co-ordinator, Lions International, Line Pankaj Purve has said that around 14 lakh children are blind all over the world. Despite being handicapped, God has provided a heart-touching voice.
