Car Discounts Galore: Maruti, Tata, Honda, Hyundai, Mahindra, Skoda, Volkswagen Offers Unveiled: Several car manufacturers are currently rolling out discounts on a range of models, including SUVs, in response to market conditions. Leading the charge is Maruti Suzuki, which has introduced substantial discounts, notably offering up to Rs 1.4 lakh off on its popular SUV, the Grand Vitara.

The Grand Vitara, priced starting from Rs 10.99 lakh, is available in petrol and CNG variants across multiple trim levels such as Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Zeta+, and Alpha+, featuring both manual and e-CVT transmission options.

Previously, Maruti had announced discounts of Rs 1.5 lakh on the Jimny, while models like Swift, Brezza, Alto, Wagon R, Dzire, and Celerio are seeing benefits up to Rs 58,000. Discounts around Rs 72,000 are also reportedly available on the Fronx.

In the competitive landscape, Tata Motors is offering discounts up to Rs 1 lakh on the Nexon, while Honda is providing Rs 55,000 off on its Elevate SUV. Additionally, Honda's Amaze and City models are eligible for cash benefits up to Rs 30,000 along with exchange, corporate, and loyalty bonuses.

Hyundai joins the fray with cash discounts of approximately Rs 30,000 on the Venue, alongside exchange offers. Discounts are also reported on the Alcazar (up to Rs 65,000) and i10 Nios (up to Rs 35,000).

Volkswagen has entered the market with significant discounts, offering up to Rs 3.40 lakh off on its Tiguan. The German automaker is also extending discounts ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 1.8 lakh on models like the Virtus and Taigun.

Industry analysts attribute these discounts to manufacturers' efforts to manage inventory amidst subdued consumer demand. They project a moderate growth of 3-5% in passenger vehicle sales for this financial year, influenced by the high-base effect from the previous fiscal year.
