AP State Fibernet Limited (APSFL) has prepared huge expansion plans. The aim of providing door-to-door Internet connection is to take fibernet services to the village level in the next three years. APSFL MD M Madhusudan Reddy explained that the target of adding at least 20 lakh new subscribers to the AP Fibernet is to add to the number of connections in three years to 60-70 lakh. Currently, the number of APSFL subscribers is 9.5 lakh. The annual revenue is expected to reach Rs 336 crore to Rs 3,000 crore by increasing subscribers. Currently, triple pay services are earning up to Rs 28 crore per month, while the number of new connections is expected to reach Rs 230 crore. Meanwhile, Madhusudan Reddy said that the monthly income of government and other corporate connections is aimed at adding rs 25 crore from the existing Rs 5 crore.

Currently, AP Fibernet services are in 2,816 villages. Plans are being made to expand services to 11,274 villages soon. The demand for internet from rural areas is increasing and the focus is on those areas. Ap Fibernet plans have been prepared accordingly, as Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered to take steps to provide high speed Internet connections to the rural level. The fiber connection to the mandal level is taken through electricpoles From there, they are planning to take them to rural areas through underground cable. Madhusudan Reddy said that the demand for new connections from the rural level is good and infrastructure is being developed accordingly, as internet, cable TV and telephone (triple play service) services are provided at a lower price than the current market companies.
