English club Tottenham Hotspur defeated Southampton 3–2 on Wednesday in the fourth round of the FA Cup. According to the sports report, both teams had to draw 1–1 in the opening fourth-round match on 25 January.

Jose Mourinho's team Tottenham took the lead in the 12th minute in the match played here on Wednesday when French midfielder Jack Stephens scored a suicide goal in his own net. But Southampton bounced back before half time and scored 1-1 thanks to a goal from Shane Long in the 34th minute.

Southampton then took a 2–1 lead in the 72nd minute with a goal from Denny Ings. But Tottenham made a good comeback in the last minutes, winning the match 3–2 with two goals. Lucas Moura scored the second goal for Tottenham in the 78th minute while Son Hyung Min scored the third goal in the 87th minute.
